Rise Above – Convoy For Cancer

Read MoreMISSION STATEMENT: This Iron Man suit is for the benefit of sick kids in hospitals. Multiple requests for appearances, paid or otherwise, for birthday parties, schools and even nightclubs have been turned down.
The discretion of such decisions is based on an ethical and honour system. I cannot accept money for myself, as Iron Man is the intellectual property of Marvel. There are copyright laws to consider and obey. Raising money for registered Children’s charities is the exception in this case. There will be appearances at venues besides hospitals for this purpose only.
Also, a wide community of people were involved in the creation of this project and gave generously on account of the project’s intent. It would not feel right to me, to stray off that clear path. Please do not give me gifts. If you can afford a gift, give that value to a kids charity.
God bless you all.
Barry Armstead.
